Mailing lists

We have set up two mailing lists, announce and backstage to keep webmasters and interested users on top of service updates.

  • announce is intended for webmasters and other high-level users who are concerned with technical and day-to-day operations of the network. The list is low-volume and used only for medium- to high-priority announcements. Posting is limited to the network staff.
  • backstage is intended for users with a technical background such as our non-staff support personnel. Temporary or esoteric problems that would not merit an announce message are discussed here. Messages are generally informal.
We recommend that all webmasters subscribe to announce and that technically-inclined users subscribe to backstage.
