Summary

An issue prevents new users and users with a new memo from signing in; this appears to affect only Linux and FreeBSD platforms.

Status

Known, investigating

Description

Attempting to sign in causes a MemoServ panel to pop up and continuously refresh; eventually, the user is disconnected from flooding.

Technical information

This has only been duplicated on the Linux and FreeBSD platforms. It has been recreated consistently but further investigation is needed.

It appears that Java 1.5 betas do not exhibit this problem. Aeriana has been unable to reproduce this problem under 1.5.0 beta 1:
