Commercial use of liveHarmony

Effective July 10, 2006, liveHarmony's policy on commercial use will be changing. The revised policy affects all users, current and future.

Due to increasing support costs, use of the liveHarmony service for commercial purposes will require prior authorization. In other words, commercial users must obtain permission from liveHarmony to begin or to continue using the service.

Commercial use includes any use that supports a for-profit activity. For example, using a liveHarmony chat room to provide technical support for a product would be considered a commercial use. It does not include personal or non-profit community sites that use banner ads or donations to support their operations.

To obtain permission to use the liveHarmony service for commercial purposes, contact us at commercial@liveharmony.org. with a complete description of your site, your objectives, and anticipated user count. liveHarmony will grant permission selectively.
