liveHarmony helper information

Our policy on users assisting others in #support has recently changed. Please review this document carefully.

  • All helpers must be authorized by liveHarmony.
  • Only authorized helpers may idle in #support.
  • You may not attempt to handle password related issues.
  • Authorized helpers will be given voice in #support.

Guidelines for authorized helpers

  • Lurk (just watch) for a week or two to get used to our culture and general room aura.
  • If you're unsure about a policy, ask an operator -- it's better than giving misinformation
  • Be polite and patient
  • Don't interrupt other helpers
  • Correct other helpers in private message; by the same token, allow the operators to deal with misbehaving users
  • Subscribe to announce and backstage to stay informed.
